INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Hydropal is filtering your water a fraction of a second before you drink it, so, naturally, it will feel a little different to your normal sports bottle. Here are a couple of things you should know:-
- Flush the filter before using ... don’t worry about the grey powder that comes out in the first few squeezes ... it's just flushing the filter media and it’s a one off
- Use shorter more frequent squeezes in the middle of the bottle ... it's also much easier to use this way. If you use one big squeeze, it distorts the whole bottle and can make it leak
- Firmly tighten the lid and don't squeeze above the shoulder of the bottle. Very cold water can make your Hydropal harder to squeeze as the cool temperature temporarily hardens the plastic bottle section.
- ARE YOU A GULPER? If you like to drink FAST, then you might want to take 30 seconds and decant the filtered water into a separate bottle or glass
- And finally, if you have not used your Hydropal for a couple of days, it is beneficial to flush the filter with one or two squeezes prior to
drinking
